Patrice Berry is a resolute and mission-driven leader with a passion for social impact and organizational growth. As the Executive Director of Sufficiency of Families, she oversees strategic planning, program development, fundraising, and community engagement to advance the organization’s mission. With a deep commitment to helping veterans and families living in their cars with their children regarding education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability, Patrice works tirelessly to drive meaningful change and improve lives.

With 22 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, Patrice has successfully led initiatives that increased funding, expanded services, and strengthened partnerships with stakeholders, including donors, government agencies, and community organizations. She specializes in key expertise areas, e.g., nonprofit management, grant writing, advocacy, and program development, ensuring operational sustainability and measurable impact.

In developing Sufficiency of Families, Patrice served in leadership roles in the United States Navy, where she played a critical role as an Aviation Electrician (AE) troubleshooting the electrical systems of fighter jets. Known for her collaborative leadership and strategic vision, she is committed to fostering inclusive, innovative, and community-centered solutions.

Patrice Berry holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Pacific Oaks located in Pasadena, CA, and is actively involved in advisory boards, or advocacy initiatives. She is enthusiastic about key interests, such as equity, policy change, and capacity building, continuously working to drive systemic and sustainable change.

Outside of work, Patrice enjoys softball, music, skiing, camping, and volunteer work, always seeking ways to stay engaged with the communities she serves.
